Chiropractic & Seitai

What is Chiropractic ?

Chiropractic originated in the United States and is a healthcare system recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO).
It focuses on restoring proper joint movement—known as joint play—particularly in the spine, to help normalize the function of the nervous system.

One of its key characteristics is its immediate and highly effective results.
Chiropractic care plays an essential role in pain relief, posture improvement, and the prevention of recurring pain.

What is Seitai ?

Seitai(整体) is a general term used to describe various forms of bodywork in Japan.
At my clinic, Seitai techniques are mainly applied to address soft tissues, which are areas that chiropractic care alone may not fully target.

By combining Seitai with chiropractic treatment, I can improve flexibility, blood circulation, and autonomic nervous system regulation, resulting in more effective and well-balanced outcomes.

My Approach

My treatment is based on a simple but essential principle:
finding the true cause of your symptoms is the most important step.

Thorough Assessment Comes First

I place the highest priority on careful assessment and examination.
Pain is often not the real problem—it is a result of underlying imbalance.
By observing posture, movement, and joint function, I identify what is actually causing stress in your body.

Science-Based Understanding

My approach is grounded in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
I use evidence-informed principles to understand how joints, muscles, and the nervous system interact, rather than relying on guesswork or routine techniques.

Combining Chiropractic and Seitai

I combine two complementary approaches:

Chiropractic focuses on adjusting the spine and related joints to support healthy nervous system function.

Seitai is used to address soft tissues and the limbs, helping restore balance throughout the entire body.

This combination allows me to adapt the treatment to each individual rather than applying the same method to everyone.

Restoring Balance and Center of Gravity

By improving overall balance and center of gravity, unnecessary tension is reduced.
As balance improves, many clients experience not only relief from discomfort but also better posture and more efficient movement in daily life.
